Before checking any emails, news or phone spend 10 minutes meditating. The best app for this is Head Space. Meditation has proven to have a wide range of health as well as mental benefits. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs are big on meditation.



Hot water and lemon. Before hitting the tea or coffee have a cup of hot water with lemon and a touch of cayenne, this will hydrate your body and get your liver going in the morning.



Get your greens in. Make sure to get your greens in every day. A man should actually have 9 vegetables and fruits every day for optimal health. The easiest way to get these have a green juice or smoothie.  If you don’t make one at home, there are many places that make them now.



Exercise. In your busy schedule, prioritise and book in exercise time. Just like you’re booking in business meetings, book in training time. The effects exercise have on performance and health are extraordinary and it will make you perform better in every part of your life.


Gratitude. At the end of each day list 5 things that you’re grateful for. It really shifts your perception and you go to sleep on a good note with your mind processing good things rather than negative ones.



Sleep.  Have you read Arianna Huffington’s book Sleep? If you get less than 8 hours per night, your health and brain is taking some serious hits. Sleep isn’t for weak, it’s for smart people that know that longevity count.
